Trailer released for Paramount+ Sexy Beast | Made in Liverpool City Region
A first-look trailer for Paramount’s eagerly awaited original drama series Sexy Beast has been released.
The prequel series filmed across the Liverpool City Region at the end of 2022 into 2023 and was the first major tenant at The Depot.
The series stars James McArdle as Gal Dove (Mare of Easttown, Angels in America), Emun Elliott as Don Logan (The Rig, The Gold), Tamsin Greig as Cecilia (Episodes, Friday Night Dinner), Stephen Moyer as Teddy Bass (Shots Fired, True Blood) and Sarah Greene as Deedee Harrison (Bad Sisters, Normal People) and will be available to watch on Paramount+ on 25th January 2024.
The new trailer provides a first glimpse into the origins of Gal and Don’s complicated relationship as they find themselves descending into the seductive madness of the London criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s, while Gal’s budding relationship with DeeDee threatens everything in their world.
