LIVERPOOL FILM OFFICE UPDATE DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK

As we all enter a period of uncertainty, the team at Liverpool Film Office want to assure you that we are still open and working hard to support productions in Liverpool City Region, where possible.

Some productions have inevitably been postponed for safety of both cast and crew, but we anticipate a very busy period when these projects are able to get back in production

We’ll be on hand to give assistance in all areas such as locations, permissions, crew, & facilities. We would like to keep connecting these filmmakers with the region’s talents behind the camera, along with the warm, film-friendly welcome that Liverpool is renowned for – but we need your help.

By joining our community, you will play a part in the region’s unique offer to filmmakers, and wherever possible, be the first to know when these opportunities become available.

Filming in Liverpool City Region

We understand that it is difficult for you to be filming at the moment, but we remain on hand to support production and infrastructure throughout this difficult and unprecedented time.

Funding

Liverpool City Region Production Fund remains open for business.

Permissions

Liverpool Film Office facilitates liaison between local authorities, other public bodies and relevant private companies to help facilitate location filming in Liverpool City Region.

Production activity in this current climate bring addition challengers and further assessment is needed. Production should give as much time as possible for a full assessment of the activates to take place. All productions will need to submit a Covid and location specific risk assessment with any application and advise who the Covid safety officer is on the production.

All production need to submit a film permit application.
